KODO Tignes

KODO is a pan-Asian restaurant and bar based in Tignes, offering relaxed, casual dining with a strong focus on atmosphere and experience. Open from late afternoon through to midnight, KODO sits somewhere between a place to eat well and a place to start the night, with sharing plates, comforting curries and noodles, and a space that naturally shifts into a bar vibe as the evening goes on.

When the team reached out, KODO was preparing for a new season and needed a clearer visual identity and online presence. The goal was to bring everything together so customers could easily find the menu, understand the vibe, and recognise KODO instantly, whether online, in-house, or grabbing a takeaway.

( The Strategy )

Our focus was on creating a cohesive brand system that could work across everything KODO needed day to day. From menus and takeaway leaflets to social media and merchandise, the priority was consistency, usability, and standing out in a busy resort environment with strict signage and branding rules.

For the website, simplicity was key. People were calling to ask for the menu, so the site needed to make that information easy to find, while also giving a clear sense of the space, the food, and what to expect when visiting. We kept the structure clean and intuitive, with room for imagery, personality, and future updates like brunch and apres offerings.

Alongside the website, we refreshed the existing logo with a stronger supporting colour palette and typography, and created templates that would allow the team to stay consistent without relying on designers long-term.
